Ok... I'm revamping this thread, because I have searched like a madman on this forum and elsewhere, and now am not sure exactly what petcock is needed for the F2 tank conversion. If anyone can give exact details on the petcock they used that would be great (i.e. part#, what size thread on the petcock, if it was a harley petcock well for what model harley is it for, what model# is stamped on the petcock, etc.). I know a lot of people keep mentioning Harley petcock, but here's the thing. There are tons of different sizes and models for Harley petcocks. I think this would GREATLY help a lot of people out (myself included).
Thank you [/b]

This is the one that I put on my F3 tank: here is the ebay link #130088170588. I just took a shot in the dark on this one, but thank baby Jesus it worked. From what the description was, you needed a 13/16 thread. Hopefully this helps. If not, I happen to have an older original harley petcock that is the same size. If you want the old one just holler back.

Hey!
Thx for the info! VERY helpful... does anyone else have any variations they use? Figured the more info we can compile into this one thread, the less confusion for others in the future.

The Pingle part number is 6311-AH
Go to http://www.pingelonline.com/powerflo.htm
click on the 'hex valves' button
then click on the 6000 series which is the same outlet direction as stock (selection lever on the left, hose out let to the right, both from riders 'on bike' perspective)
Fourth one down... 22mm
cost me a little over 110 CDN including shipping
I guess if you wanted a little more 'bling' factor, you could always use the 6311-CH as well, its the same thing but chrome instead of alum.
