    Monster seat cowl

    Just a quickie
    Bought a monster seat (Like most) and I am wondering if the seat cowls you can buy for the Ducati seat are universal or did they change over the years or did the monster seat change
    I guess I will have to mod one to fit anyway but I dont want to get one and make heavy mods if I can help it.

    The cowl screws to the bottom of the seat by (2) 6mm thumb screws under the "wings" of the cowl. As far as I know they have not changed these in any way.

      from what i could tell, the monster 1000 uses a different cowl because it has a larger seat. They changed the seat from the original but i think (and i may be way wrong) that you would be safe with a cowl from, say, 95 on up.
