    rear fox shock adjustments

i just had a fox twin clicker which i purchased from e-bay installed on my 88 hawk, and niether myself nor the shop who installed it are particularly familiar with the shock, except that i know it is a good shock for the bike.

i also know it came off a hawk, but currently it feels a bit low and even a bit soft.

does anyone have any measurements (for ride height etc) or settings (pre-load, or compression/ rebound damping) that could be recommended in terms of setting the bike up for some good sporty riding.

the bike has an f2 front end with f2 wheel brakes etc. installed and will be ridden both as a commuter seeing daily use in new york city, and as a track bike. The bike will probably see 5 or 6 track days throughout the year. The bike has the stock rear wheel and michelin pilot power tires both front and rear.

    any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
