Yeah belt drive, I was looking through a german hawk site and there's a couple with the belt drive mod. But why the oil cooler, even with 90hp hawk JD isn't using one (is he?) and Germany is far from a desert, what gives? I didn't see a supercharger anywhere on it hehe.

The tailpiece is really cool on that blue bike too, I asked Dirk where it came from, dunno if he'll know though.

That tail is some form of monoposto 90's Duc Supersport.

Looked like a hawk taillight stuck in there, didn't know if it was a random european fiberglass company's work.

Maybe something to do with the duc/brembo wheel mod. In any case there are some trick hawks over there.

i remeber back in the day that was a mod a few people did

relocating the rear brake caliper under the swingarm, looks like he also got a different caliper too

i have herd from the rc51 guys they put a r1 caliper on there bikes because there so much lighter

look at the stock rear eccentric... the brake is all thats stopping you from flipping it 180* and raising the ride height.... if you reloacate the brake to the bottom, you can have that eccentric upside down... and a taller rear rideheight.

ya i remember that thread a wile back
the thing i dont like about fliping the bearing housing is that, the chain will rest on the swingarm alittle more than i would like.

but putting the brake under makes it look very clean back there and for the racers lowering the ceter of mass is always a plus
