    Carb flooding cylinder

A couple times last year, when I had the petcock turned on overnight, my rear cylinder would fill up with fuel.
I've currently got the carbs out while I'm installing the Factory 3.0 kit.
What should I be looking for as a source of this problem? The carbs were pretty clean, no buildup when I removed the jets. Haven't removed the screws yet to clean them out. Going to check the float levels next...
    Bike ran great last summer.

    Thanks for any ideas

And/or the petrol valve that attaches to the floats to be working.
When the float is at its highest level is should stop the flow of fuel into the bowl.

ok... that's what I was leaning towards... An inspection of the rubber tip and seat seemed to indicate it was ok, but I haven't checked the height yet..
People with the 3.0 kit using factory float level? 9.2mm/.36"

        Thanks
