    Acewell Speedo Information

I'm trying to get my Acewell speedo mounted and have a few questions. First of all does any one have or can they scan the wiring diagram and send it to me via email. I bought the speedo here in Japan and have been having a hell of a figuring it out. Second I've noticed in the wiring diagram that there are several positives coming from each harnesses leaving the back of speedo. Two of the positive leads (one from the left and one from the center) do not have a relay in series. Do each of these need to be directly wired to the battery or is there a wire somewhere in the harness that is constantly hot. I don't have a voltmeter on hand to check.

I'm assuming the constant hots are clock, odometer and tripometer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

....and there are a few of us really wondering how difficult this thing is to install and once installed, how well it works. I think there was a guy from Toronto by the name Phantom-Power or something that had gotten an Acewell as well.
Phantom man, you out there?! ...oh the irony!

first off...buy a voltmeter, or at least a test light...they are cheap...and you will need it

the brown wire needs to be wired direct to the battery or constant power...its for the clock...and no...you wont drain the battery.....

main issue i had was the kickstand indicator...i was trying to hook it up to the Hazard light...but the polarity is reversed...but if you have both wiring diagrams...you should be able to do this easily...i am a total novice with electrical crap...and i had it done in a day...

for the clock (brown wire), what did you use for your constant power source?
