    Carbs

Well my secrets out now and I've got a 2nd Hawk. I'll post pictures
    later.

The bike was not running to good as it been stored for a while. Knowing
the problems with Carbs and Tank when I got my Blue Hawk, I decided
to clean the Tank out with POR15 and open up the Carbs.
All the jets looked tarnished so decided to take them out and clean them.
(Remember this has 82mm Wisco pistons, 11.8:1 compression, ported and polished
heads and AT cams, and a D&D exhaust). Well I pull out the Pilot Jets
#45 just what I expected but when I pull out the Mains #125 Front #80
Rear.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF. Then I check the sliders and they are from an RC30 !!!
I talked to the wise one (JD) and he is going to send me a FactoryPro 3 kit.

After getting my FactoryPro kit 3 from JD I decide to take a picture to compare jets:-

I am completey suprised that the rc30 needles actually made the bike run. That is a huge difference.

                Rich Burn

I think that I have the RC30 Pin as well, How can you adjust it?

Can you move the washers that were on top to the bottom? Is there really any adjustability?

I found out that I have the RC30's as well, and seems to be burning pretty rich.

To use the RC30 needle you have to use the RC30 diaphram/slider.
I still have the TBR RC30 kit instructions and it tells you to put
a 0.5mm washer on one side of the needle and the other washers
0.5 +1.0 + 1.0mm washers on the other side of the needle shoulder.
This all then fits into a housing inside the slider (see original picture I posted) and these extra washers I was told by JD is to stop the needle from bouncing inside the housing.

By the way the Main jets were #125 and #80 !!!!!!!!
JD couldn't understand how it ever run properly, but it now has a FactoryPro 3 lit installed
