Finally touches on the carbs... couple questions

I am getting my carbs all mounted back in the bike and getting ready to run new fuel lines and also add the pods and small filter.

I have 4 fittings for fuel and 2 fittings for the sub air cleaner and the breather tube on the top of the engine.

What all do i connect to the small KN looking filter? I have seen people use 2 off these filters and place one on the breather and connect the 2 sub airs to one.

also do all 4 fuel fittings all become just one afer all the stock tubes are reconnected... (I took them all off and forgot were they attach... duh!) from what I can tell on the manula pics they start witht the 2 inners and they connect to the one under the front side and then to the one on the bottom back... is that the route?

    Pics would be great

    some pics

    How they sit:

    Flipped over:

Here is my diconnect: where does the tube go to??

and do I have these hooked up right? run under the carbs and connect the two nips into a single out a T.

Fuel pump pic and fuel travel plus a vacum line:

And is this the only place the fuel comes in via the pump?

Is this where the vacum line from the pump is connected? It's located on the rear cyclinder on the left side.

"what's this go to"... That was the hose that i was asking about a week or so ago... general concesus is that it attaches to nothing... just a vent to air. sits between the carbs and front cylinder... right in the middle.

So thats really a nothing hose... ok

and the line running under the carb is the fuel line and thats where I come in from the pump.

Also what do I connect these with? DO I need another small filter like whats on the head ther on the right?

Just put mine back on after a rebuild and was wondering, does it matter what direction the diaphragm breather tubes point to?
ATM the left points forward and right backward.

I would just point them both downwards if leaving them without tubes and filter. If using tubes and filter, I would reuse the original parts and take them out from the original airbox.

                  Nice thread resurrection

Doh, don't know what I was thinking as I'm currently still running the stock airbox.

                    Haha yeah I searched!
