Centre stand rubbing against chain.

Last night I just put on a new exhaust system but now the chain is rubbing against the centre stand now. For the time being I had to remove the centre stand.
Is this a common problem and what is the solution ?
I would like to keep my centre stand so leaving it off is a last resort.


I found this post related to it but no solution.

I have two much on my plate to make it my self so I contacted them but no reply yet, I am going to contact them again before I go and make one.

On my girlfriends bike when we install the center stand (so much easier to work on the bike) we notice the same thing, the solution was to make a "cane" ( a plastic plate about four inches long) coming from the left footpeg heal guard down into the center stand feet, is basically a separator, works really well but looks kind of funny..

we did have one of this left side it supertrapps pipes, so ussing the passnager footpeg was not possible, but that location will be even better...


Ps: the solution show above is briliant, if you can get one just buy it..

I contacted the guys from super trap for that stopper from this web site

They do not make them anymore but they do have lots of stopers left(the rubber bit at the end)
If that is any help to any body

Well I finaly got round to making a stopper for the centre stand.
