    Aftermarket...just what the doctor ordered

What type of aftermarket parts are on your Hawk? Exhausts, filter, body or accessories? I'm new to the Hawk world and am looking to upgrade and modify like so many of you have done. Any helpful advice, parts, or part numbers would be great. Thanks

All depends on what u want first.

engine mods for a little more pep OR suspension mods for more carve

        ENGINE
Engine Lite - Factory Jet 1 - drill/swiss cheese the top of the filter box and add K&N - couple hundred bucks

        Engine Med - Factory Jet 3 - K&N/Uni pods - full aftermarket exhaust (M4-2Brothers - etc...) - $500+

Engine Major - Call JD and go wild! $$$+

        Suspension

        Front
Front Lite- depending on yr. Cut the spring - add a longer spring pvc collar - weld up all but one of the lower oil holes - new seals - cost of seals, frok oil, welder and time. $50 - 100

Front Med - put in Race Tech Gold valves and Progressive springs - $250 -350

Front Large - complete swap out with newer model forks ( talking forks, brakes, wheel, fender and so on) may lose stock speedo and have to add in a digital. $500+++

Front Major - complete aftermarket inners - $1000+

        Rear
Rear Shock - stock - leave it and its free...

        Rear Lite - 900rr mod $50 - 100

        Rear Med - Progressive brand - $350-450

        Rear Large - Aftermarket - Ohlins - Penske - Fox - $500+

        Body

Hmmmm... all depends on what your dream is. I personally don't like plastic... so mines been striped down and is more "street fighter" others like to go full blown Moto-GP. $0 - 1000+++

I emailed Hord, and got an estimate for M4 Exhaust, Stage 3 Jet, Uni-Pod/K&N. I am leaving for 10 days tomorrow, so hopefully I can do it when I get back, I only live 4 hours away from their place.

i think hawk jr. has put together a pretty good list.

i am only 2/3rds of the way through said list, opting to carve as opposed to pep, and have leaned towards the major or large on the scale of the change.

a complete cbr f2 front end and fox shock (completely sorted) at the rear and the bike feels totally different.

now after getting passed like a sitting duck on my next track day, perhaps i will look into the pep option.

and no body work needed unless you are racing.
