    Cleaning/polishing

My Hawk gets subjected to the elements daily, I commute in all weather and it sits in the sun all day. Needless to say its a little grungy. I have simple green and that seems to work well for road grime but I have an aluminum M4 pipe and it needs a little shine. I know there's lots of you out there with polishing experience so what's a good product/method to start with to clean up a dirty can?

take your self to the local auto parts store that has mothers metal polish with the foam ball
its about $20 alittle on the high side but worth it.

put that polishing ball on a drill add some polish and go to town.

foose has the power ball also never used it but im sure it works with the right polish.

Any particular method that works best? i.e. little circles, sweeping motion?

doesnt really matter with that stuff just turn the drill on high and the longer you do it the better the results

I have had good experience with the Eagle One metal shining product. It comes in a silver can and the actual material is a wadded cloth, you just rip off the a piece of the cloth and shine away. Works real well.

ya i used never dull same thing but it takes alot of work because your rubbing by hand.
nice to use just to maintain a nice finish but i wouldnt recommend it for bring a part back from the dead.
