    FYI - Stock Carb Hoses

Put a jet kit in last night (Factory 3.0) and took a couple of piccies to remind me where the stock pipes go.

    Enjoy.

Good thinking Marc, I did the same with all the wiring and drain hose routing when I cleaned up my subframe this weekend. Looks like you're keeping the stock fuel lines, I decided to keep mine, the rubber was in good shape, that grey coating has kept it nice for 17years! And its bent so well to fit around the heads, I didn't want to put the blue stuff in and have it kinking and resting on the engine.

      LRLT,
frankly Ive spent so much on this damn thing recently that unless the stock lines were pissing petrol all over the shop I had no intention of changing them out!!!
They aren't too bad but obviously new is better.....

Just as a side note .... I am also running new fuel lines. There are 4 hoses other than the ones on the carbs and overflows, and mine were so bad I got Honda ones, but there is one the "C" one that no one has anymore and Honda discontinued. I am making that one out of bulk hose, which sucks. The Honda ones are sweet.

Just to add a little rant here, the blue hose I bought from dennis kirk is crap. Its thin walled so if you try to replicate ANY of the bends in the stock line routing it will kink up. Even the gentle curve from the petcock to the fuel filter is too much for it to handle. I guess you could probably use it if you moved your fuel filter and kept the lines as strait as possible, but for anyones reference, the blue polyurethane is tough to work with. I'm interested at looking at the tygone stuff in case its a better product but like Marc said that can wait till the stock lines disintegrate.
