What rad fan to use with Magna Rad?

I modded a Suzuki fan to use on the magna rad, but its too thick, and hits the cross member...what rad fan do you all use? Or do i really need a fan on a track bike?

you probably dont need a fan on a track bike but it does mean that you will have to pay close attention to your temps when sitting on the grid etc etc..

i used the stock one
and just made a few mounting brakets out of some sheet metal

Im just in the middle of fabbing brackets on my magna rad, ill be using the stock Bros fan so will post some pics if it works!

stock hawk fan was how i did it
i think the magna fan is to deep has well

well heres my efforts!
welding is courtesy of Rob the blob! well i was outa gas! but it all fits nicely and when i get a new bottle of gas ill tidy it all up and get it powder coated! Bottom bracket gets bolted to the frame 1st! then it all fits a treat!

I must have a totally different rad then you all...mine has the top studs going the same direction as t the side studs pointing towards the back of the bike

Well a lot of work all in vein on this gixxer fan but anyone know exactly what rad i have?

its not a magna there are no bolts or threaded holes at the top pointing back.
now that i think about it, it could also be a newer year.

the one rob has is from a 85-87 maybe even other years im not sure.
and mine almost looks the same the bottom braket is a little diffrent.
make sure its solid, if it moved it could damage some fins and spring a leak.

I figured it out, its a V65 Radiator....any reason why this may not be the optimal radiator? fits the bracket perfectly....

i just used the top middle one and never got around to the bottom. with the hose on there it doesnt move to much but ya not the best way to do it. maybe thats why im on my second radiator after 5 years
