dynojet question

So I just got my new dynojet kit in the mail, and it included a drill bit and instructions to drill out the slide lift holes... but it doesn't say why to do this... anybody know? This being my first attempt at a re-jet, I'm certainly interested in being cautious.

Yeah, yeah, I know I should've bought the factory pro kit... It was an impulse buy... stupid e-bay.

dynojet kit is fine, factory is better but it works (it's what i'm runnin).

i believe you need to drill the holes so the slides move up/down faster. i've installed a jetkit once w/o drilling the slides (forgot) and the midrange was non-existant.
