I just got my sweet brand new (to me) 1988 Hawk GT 650. I have already stripped it down to send the subframe and many, many brackets off to powdercoating. I also received my Factory Stage 3, Uni pods, new short stalk signals, and I am in the process of getting some other goodies.
As far as exhaust goes, I need to get a low mount to retain the passenger pegs (not my idea of course)...is the M4 really the only decent option? I have seen some of you have used a Y pipe and then added a muffler to the stock headers. Where can you buy this Y pipe? I checked the Bos site and couldn't find it.
Anyone getting rid of an M4? Any help would be great, I just want to weigh all options before forking over $600.
