    Carb Jetting

How do I get to the carb needles so I know what jet kit I'm running? The PO installed "something" and I need to know if it was the Stage 3 or Dynojet that I want, or if I need to get a kit from JD.

You need to take the diaphragm tops off the carbs and pull the slides out.

Here is some useful info, maybe you could add the Dynojet to the gallery:-

You should take the carbs off, open the bowls and look for numbers on the jets (the brass things).

The adjustable ones may have had the tops lopped off depending on how they were, er, adjusted. My Factory ones came with a sparesy set of carbs. Nice.
