    Cant find instructions??

    Cant find instructions for how to modify my hub for a vfr800 wheel!

    Please help with link?

    I haven't done this myself, although it looks sweet. Searching for "vfr spindle" on here or www.hawkgt.com bring up some stuff that may be helpful. Here are a few on here.

      Have you considered just using vfr750 parts rather than modifying the Hawk spindle?
      '95 ShaftHawk 650P>
      Front: Bros Mk2 front wheel; Mk1 forks; MetalGear disc; NC30 caliper; cb1 yoke.
      Breathing: Hacked up and shortened ART tri-can on collector and link pipe from DemonTweeks.
      Other: RGV bars; DefT dash; modded subframe; modded rearsets; relocated ignition.

      Currently off the road.

        No I have not! I have the studs and my dad is a 30 year machinest so its a $20 swap as oppsed to finding a 750 spindle shipping alone would be $20!!

        I was just looking to see What troubles people ran into so I could be prepared, dementions and what not, to make the process easier!
        no sence in reinventing the wheel!!

          boring those holes will be tricky

          the spindle is case hardend so use a carbide drill bit, cobolt might work but the bit wont be of much use after the fourth hole. turning down the other part of the spindle is a snap, or you can just cut it off.
