Headlight blinks / Front Left turn signal does not work

Hey all,

I recently purchased a 90 Hawk, and the Front Left turn signal was out. So I replaced it, and now the turn signal still does not work, but the headlight blinks when I turn the signal switch on. The left rear turn signal, and both right signals work fine.

I have single filament bulbs in, so no running lights. I checked the wiring diagram, and I "think" everything is in the right place.

Help - Why is my headlight blinking, and why is the turn signal still not working?

another western washington Hawker! Welcome to the forums. You shuold pull the headlight and check the wiring, it;s probably hooke to the turn signal by accident

turn your headlight on, does the blinker work now, if yes I think Steven suggestion is good one
