main bearing shells

hi all

Finally split the case's of my xrv lump,on removal of the crankshaft checking the main bearing shells both sides are coloured a light brown,but no scoring on either side of the crank? any ideas

The only engine builder I know of is "Vic Eastwood" who is a Wiseco agent
they are based in Swanley in Kent.

As to the color of the shells maybe worth emailing JD Hord
