Does anyone have the goodridge brakeline part number for the kit that hordpower sells.
Is it a standard packaged line or has it different banjos angles etc.

No fault of nor negative reflection on Hord

Some items Hord has are not certified in other countries, Brake lines I suspect are one.

I'M guessing this may be the reason behind the question.

I know here in New Zealand, there needs to be NZ standards certification numbers stamped on the bangos, overwise the bike will fail its 6 monthly road safety check.

The funny thing is OEM parts don't require this

Wow, you have a mandatory safety check every 6 months in NZ? How much do they charge for that? I thought we had it bad every 12months @ $55 a go.

We may be getting close to this situation too Swipe.

Aren't the EU trying to make it illegal to use anything other than OEM parts?

The kits are something I piece together. Just get with your local shop, provide the length you need, and they ought to be able to get what you need?

                    He's right of course.

I just used goodridge screw together parts, two straight banjos and a 36 inch length of cut, and ended, goodridge hose. Stainless of course.

He's right about the 45 deg banjo on the rear, though a straight one will fit with a bit of fiddling. I used a neat grinding stone attachment to ream out the hole, you have to go larger for the screw together fittings, and I didn't have a drill bit large enough.

FWIW Wurth the Honda dealer (21st Moto) in Swanley sells the Goodridge brake lines. Just measure the length you need and what banjo's you want
and all your'll need to find is a grommet to fit in the hole to protect the line from rubbing on the swingarm.

What did you use for a grommit? I always thought one of the cowling grommits looked about right but I haven't tried one yet.
