    Cleaning up the header pipes

My headers are very "blued" and a little rusty.

What can be done to clean these up a bit?\

    Thanks

      Polish.....

I live in the salty air climate of Florida. Everey year or two I have to polish up the pipes. Wear it is corroded,400 grit sand paper will get you started. every where else, use 900 plus, or that stuff with a polishig compound(usually red) embeded in the paper. work up numericaly(400 to 500 to 600 etc.) in grit and finish with any name brand polishing compound.(this has also worked on the forks)
