    Dim Headlights, no blinkers

My battery is all but dead (I have to hook it up to the Battery Tender to get lights). I just hooked up my Aztec 8 headlights, and now when I hit the turn signals it goes "click-click-click-click....." really fast. Unfortunately, I never tested the blinkers before I hooked up the new headlights and I don't know which came first, the chicken or the egg.
Lowbeams are waaaaay dim, and highbeams are mediocre...

Do I just need a battery? A Milktree Harness? Both?

So what sort of blinkers are they?

      Hahaha... trick question...

I've got an integrated taillight in the back, where the blinkers use the taillight bulbs through a power converter.

The front signals are aftermarket jobbies from JC Whitney. 10W (I think) with running lights.

Sounds like that's your problem, the taillight/blinker mod changes the load on the circuit making it blink too fast. You will need a relay. Search the list archives for info on this. I think there's also info on Dave's canyon chasers site.

My problem's not the "blinking fast" thing... I don't mind that.
It's that the blinkers aren't lighting up at all.

Hmmm... Fried/faulty flasher relay? Do your tail/brakelights work at all? Could be blown blinker bulb/s, when one in the pair (front and rear) goes, the other blinks faster. It's possible that one/both were compromised during your power converter mod or your headlight install.

Dunno. It would be best to make sure you've got a sound battery first.
