I took my bike for its MOT today and while I was in there I saw a old 89 CBR hiding among all the other broken bikes and wondered if this front end will swap onto a Bros? I'm not sure of the exact model but I'm 99% sure its this bike pictured.
well fork diameter is easy enough to cheak in person just bring a set of calipers with you. and length could be an issue for you if you have your handlebars on top of the upper clamp, if anything they might be shorter and then you would need to run your bars under the upper clamp.
and if these are the forks that are shorter you can set them flush with the top clamp i think JR knows more about this i herd it from him i think.
I was googling last night and found the diameters 41mm but they appear to be shorter.
If I get time I'll try and head to the bike and measure the length of them

You might find, then, that you can use the bros uppers with the cbr lowers.

Since we never recieved the awesome little cbr400rr in this country I have no clue regarding the specs. so I am only going by logic on this. First even if the fork legs are 41mm in diameter you may still have a fitment issue since the CBR's clamps may be wider or narrower than your bike's making the front axle an issue and possibly brake offset.
I would think if the clamping width or the fork leg diameter were different the easiest solution would be to swap clamps and steering stem as well as the forks brakes and wheel. Honda was pretty consistent in its use of steering stem deminsions during this time. A quick way to check would be to cross reference the part numbers for the steering stem bearings on both you bike and the cbr. If they match your in business for an easy clamp swap. If the width of the clamps and axle length are the same as your bike and the fork diameter is 41mm please disregard all of the above.
Faster than your mother... She's what the pros use.
IIRC thats an NC29 the 'gullarm' model.
My mate had the slightly older one the 'triarm'.
The gullarm used pretty much the same forks as a VFR400 NC30 BUT had 4 pot callipers whereas the gullarm has twin pot sliders like the CBR600F's.
As for length they are slightly shorter but Dirk uses NC30 forks and reports no problems whatsoever.
