I broke the right hand mirror mount in the master cylinder, so i'd like to know what my options are as far as mounting a new mirror somewhere on the right. should i just replace the master cylinder, or try to mount it elsewhere? is a master cylinder expensive? i can post pictures, if necessary.

just use a replacement mirror clamp on the master cylinder. I have the ones from a honda cb1000r on mine and they do the job superbly! Part numbers below:
left :45517-MFN-D01
right :45518-MFN-D01
These replace the clamp that bolts the master cylinder to the handle bar and allow the mirror to be screwed into this.
I'm sure there will be cheaper aftermarket options out there, but they work for me and a lot cheaper than a new m/c!!!'90 Bros mk I - 954 front end, vapor digi dash, k-tech cbr1100xx shock, full TBR system, cbr900rr rearsets with cbr600rr pegs, fabitappi hugger and seat converter and cb600f8 wing mirrors

sometimes... I amaze myself with my stupid.
Edit: Actually American Honda is not importing any parts for bikes that were not intended for the US.
So I'm going to get some ducati monster clamps that have them built in. I should have known... I HAVE a monster (refer to first line).
Slash still gets the award for the idea though.Last edited by 12013; 11-11-2009, 05:30 PM.~ROB

Use the Hawk master. Internals are identical to the F2 which was a dual rotor setup.-I'm sorry....I did not know she was your sister.
