    Aftermarket rear shocks

Hey all!!! Ive gotta say this site is kickin' like moms chicken!!!!

But seriously Id like to pick y'alls brains on the effectiveness of different shocks yall are running out there. Best when money is no object and Best bang for the buck. Id like at least low speed dampening(High speed would be great as well but we're talkin $ for a Penske). Hows the 900rr shock?

    Y'alls input is appreciated... [/b]

After using (and rebuilding) Fox, Penske, and Ohlins shocks I have had the best success from the Ohlins. Also they tend to be a little cheaper than the Penskes.

Ohlins price is almost the same as Penske 8983.

every racer local to me tells me to get the Penske over the Ohlins because there are a ton of people with the penske tools, but noone has the Ohlins stuff...

really though, i dont think you can go wrong with either one.

              Question?
Does anybody have a manual for the Fox Twin clicker?

              Cheers,

My brother has an SV (Hawk pretender) with a twin-clicker. I think he has a manual. Let me check and I'll post.

I have an Ohlins and love it. The stiction is super low, and my bike sticks like mad. But then again a friend of mine works at Ohlins so the tool thing doesn't scare me, and I got a pretty sweet deal.

Get whatever shock you think is going to work for you. -crash
