    Confusing info on 929 forks

    Hi guys looks like I need new forks after an incident.
    CBR 929's will they fit the Standard yokes.
    I have read that they are a simple swap but I also read that they are 43mm
    Has anybody the definitive answer
    If its a goer will the 6 spoke VFR/CBR wheel fit
    Hanging on hopefully to get riding again

        maybe the whole front end could be made to fit

          yeah it probably would by sticking the 929 yokes on as well.
          There are some 929 forks on the US ebay for about £70 and about £60 P&P

            yea, the way you normally upgrade to the newer frontends is by replacing the whole triple tree..

            honda was kind enough to use the same size headbearings for years.. so the ID and OD match up for alot of diffrent models and years.

              Talking of Honda Mix and Matching is the CBR 6 spoke the same as the VFR 6 spoke they looks identical and are both 17" 3.5"

                just one thing to remember Arcie all the blade USD forks were recalled in the UK, theres been a lot on fleabay lately and it makes ya wonder??

                  Check that list to see if the yokes will be compatible, as far as steering stem upper and lower size wise. Which they are, fyi.

                    yes, the F3 and VFR 6 spokers are the same. I have a "VFR" wheel in my F3 front end.

                        to possibly help out further, I'm pretty sure the vfr wheel from '94-'97 is what you want. I always go online and look at a fiche to make sure.
