I'm in need of some help from all the electrical buffs on the forum. I recently got a fender eliminator plate off ebay for a good price. I removed fender along with the stock license plate light. A brown wire (hot) and a green wire. After doing this I was still able to light the tail light in park and on positions. Next I got the LED license plate lights and put them together. They seemed pretty simple just a red and black wire. This is were I may have gone wrong. What I did was sodered the black to black and red to red on the LED lights. I tested them by placing the red wire on the positive and the black on the negative terminal of the battery. Both LED lights lit up. Great I thought. Well what I did next was cut the wiring from the stock fender and license plate light and attacted it to my red and black wire of my LED lights. I attacted the black to green and red to brown. I did this so everything would fit in the stock location. Well when I wired every thing back up and turned the key I got nothing. No LED's and now no tail light. The brake light still works but no tail light. I don't know if I popped a fuse or what happened. I'm hoping someone out there can help me. Thanks in advance for any replys
