Stock Carbs - how much power can they handle? JD?

Does anyone know how much power the stock Hawk carbs can handle? I'd like to do the Hord 700 kit, with headwork, and mild cams. I think on the hordpower site it said that made about 67 hp, which I think would be perfect for what I want to use it for (primarily track, with the occasion street ride)...But yeah, I'd like to do those mods and was wondering if the stock carbs can handle that much power.

Depends a lot on what is underneath the carbs of course, but I have seen 75+ from a couple Hawk engines with stock carbs. Usually on those types of engines when you slap the FCR's on, they will gain 5-8hp, but for reasons of longevity/streetability/etc we ran the stockers.

      Just for fun...

How much do the FCRs run?

Also this is a little off subject but what's your turn around on a set of heads, and do you keep the 700cc pistons in stock?

Hold onto your socks, about $850 for the kit with cables but without filter adaptors. (39mm)

Turnaround time on heads would be about 8 weeks at the moment. Better to wait until winter on those. I have the 700 lightweights in stock.
