A lister did post a picture of a Hawk/Bros with a belt drve some time ago.
I'm sure it was on a bike in Europe and all the USA listers were commenting on how big the (air brake) number plate was on the back.

Exacly brewsy, as I can see and read, you guy's don't see any advantage?

I pesonnaly like the belt drive for its cleanliness mainly but I have little knowledge on what is best (reliabilaty and performance wise). The picture that JR posted is the only thing that I found maybe I should search more.

            Thanks for the reply.

              Balou,
obviously nobody can tell you what you should or shouldnt do but I would guess that this isnt a kit you can buy off the shelf. If I'm correct then to change to belt drive would be a LOT of work and fabrication, unless of course the dimensions on the Hawk SA match either a Buell or BM exactly.
I dont know how you ride or the mileage you do but frankly for the hassle of adding lube once in a while and perhaps cleaning the swing arm up a chain cant really be beaten.
But as ever beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If you do decide to go 'belt' take plenty of photos and let us all see your progress!!
