    Hawk slip-on exhaust- Interested?

OK, I've found a supplier of stainless 2-1 merge collectors that is pretty reasonably priced. I want to gauge interest in a slip-on system. I want to make this as simple as possible, so there will probably be only one muffler mount option, low, under the passenger peg. (as far as the tailpipe goes) I dunno, maybe a low and high but I doubt it. Price will depend on volume of orders. I'm not even saying for sure I will offer this... just a feeler.

Any idea what the price range might be? I know price probably depends on the amount of orders so lets say there's enough interest on here for a bulk buy of 20...

I'm hoping to keep it $200 or less for the collector and tailpipe. If 20 people were interested it might get closer to $150. Just a wild guess at this point. Muffler not included. I could supply that for an additional fee or any 2" inlet muffler could be used.

If you can make it available to the UK as well, then count me in.

No, because it does not exist yet. I'm thinking the "low" version will be a simple ~35degree upbend from the collector that replicates the look of a M4 low mount. The second possible high version would look something like the photo posted on the other thread.

The key is to keep things simple. The collector will be separate from the tailpipe, so only one collector is needed with a choice of 2 tailpipes. (modular) Also this will allow a bit of adjustment in things to get stuff lined up just where the owner wants. AND it will allow tighter packaging for shipping to the UK or wherever.

I'm interested, having just bought a can off the guy above me. Was going to try to make one myself, but I'll probably do a horrible job...

I'm interested also I currently have a supertrapp system and can't get it apart to replace the core and all the disc bolts are broke from when I went to add discs. A new system is a little more than I want to spend on the commuter bike, this would be a good compromise.

As I have a couple of used different used mufflers sitting in the garage, I would be interested in one of the high mount systems.

                      Thanks,
