    900RR shock reserviour clamp

I see that some of you, with the 900rr shock mod, have a nifty little clamp to hold the shock reserviour. I was wondering where you all got those or how you made them I.e. from what did you make them?

    Thanks,
    Jason

I've seen stainless steel zip ties and regular plastic zip ties used.

I had got mine from 'Billet' Bill Odom on the list. He's a whiz with a mill, but I don't know if he's still active.

I used a part for a Honda dirt bike.
Its rubber, about 1/2" thick, and has a round cutout for the res, and a smaller cutout on top. I put the small cutout against the subframe and zip-tied it on.

I used the hoseclamps but I made a bracket that I attached to the bolt above the top shock mount. The bracket I made was just some metal I cut up that kinda looks like the letter L . I drilled a hole where the bottom tip of the L would be and mounted the shock res. with the hoseclamps to the long part of it to keep the res. from hitting the frame. It kinda floats a little off the frame now.
