    how close is to close?

    i remember someone say something about mounting there exhaust to close and melting there tire.

    i need to come up with something else

    If you have some machine shop contacts you could make a new endcap for your can, I remember someone posting a picture of one they'd made. Just put a 90º tip on there.

                Too close = melt tire. That was me.
                My under engine setup uses a 2" 45deg bend made of stainless to clear the tire.

                - That looks like a cut-down Two Brothers C-5 canister with carbon skin.

                Mine, using TBR headers:
                -I'm sorry....I did not know she was your sister.
                -If Buckleys cold mixture went rancid......how would anybody know????
                -Dont piss off the quiet guy with the chain saw.
