    Clip On and Cable Question

Well I have another question just kidding I have tons of questions!!!!!

As I go through the past threads about clip ons and options. I have tried to do research on the cable aspect of switching the handle bars to clip ons. I have pretty much decided that i am going with the pro-flow clip ons. Anyway, As i look on hordpower.com I see different options for cables.

Can someone please discribe the difference of "push" and "pull" cables, other than they push or pull. Which would be better for me?

I need to switch the cables out anyway and want to do it the right way, and not re-route the existing cables.

Thank you for your continued help, one of these days I will be able to offer my guidance to those who need it, until then I will ask questions.

You'll want one of each. One 'pulls' the butterflies open when you twist the throttle, the other one 'pushes' the butterflies open, but more importantly, when the throttle is closed, the 'push' cable physically closes the butterflies. Sure there is a spring that does this, but if it should ever fail, and if you didn't have a 'push' cable, you would have no way to control the engine (other than killing it).

I'm in Cambridge - feel free to give me a shout.

Bringing the Hawk? If you're not then you can pick up a Bros for around the 750 quid mark.
