    Swingarm Question

I was planning on removing the seam deal (raised area on the side of the swingarm) that's left behind from the casting process. Has anyone ever heard of that causing strength issues?

hmm i wouldnt risk it just for looks reasons, ive heard of people sanding away welds to where the 2 pieces fell apart, but ive not done it personally.

        swingarm

        hi

that ridge along the arm is just a casting mark it's not a weld,so it's alright to sand off wont have any effect on the arm,so no need to worry,im gonna do mine, looks ugly!!!!

damn that looks really nice, imagine polishing and then anodizing them a nice colour, would that have a nice effect or would the aluminium return to the dull, not-shiny state?

if you wax and clean the anodized aluminum, it will stay shiny longer... but its just as big of a PITA to upkeep as a polished arm.

looks great when its clean though.
