Soggy Shock

The rear shock on the Bros 650 is totally soggy... I have obtained an (old!) Fireblade shock to hopefully improve matters - I understand that I use the spring from the Bros - As it is already 'soggy', will this mean the Fireblade shock with the Bros spring amount to much the same thing.. I mean, is this a waste of time?

Anyone have a comment on this?

The blade shock should be an improvement. What's gone on your shock is usually the damping. It was never brilliant to begin with, and add nearly 20 years to it... I would recommend you get the blade shock revalved to suit. There were a few individuals who specialised in this, but I think they've stopped. Search the UK list archives for details. Otherwise get in touch with a suspension specialist (maxton, hagon etc)
