F2, F3, F4, F4i, 929, 954, RC-51, 600 RR, 1000 RR. From what I've been able to gather via the search feature, pretty anything Honda has made recently.

People have also modified GXSR front ends to the Hawk.

Yep, I had that in my reply but since I coudn't find a guide to install one, left it out (the guy who did the F2 tank mod and Monster seat mod comes to mind).

I don't think the GSXR are "bolt on".

Short of a BMW or GTS1000,there isn't much you can't stick on a Hawk if you're motivated.

Hondas are essentially bolt up but if you're willing to do things like simple bearing and stem swaps or making a spacer, there are plenty of other options-you can actually even do things like use Honda triples with Suzuki or Ducati forks if you really want to...but of course it's more difficult that sticking with straight Honda.

I've got an 89 gixxer 750 front end on my Hawk, but I don't know if it was just a bolt on job since it was on there when I bought it.

after reading joel's post, i remeber something about needing to swap stearing stems for a gsxr front end swap to work.

the only reason people did that was because gsxr's had USD forks before honda did. but now honda has them and all the newer front ends (02+) are lighter than those first generation USD gsxr front forks.

i remember a gsxr front end was the hot thing to have when i got my hawk back in 2001.

but this is all from memory so i could be wrong or mixing stuff up in my head.

Pre 96 GSXR fronts are easy: replace your head bearings with GSXR items and make up an IIRC 1/16" spacer for below the triple.
Post 96 can be as easy or complicated as you want- either a stem and bearing swap or just get 929 triples...
