5th gear problems - hord?

I recently went to a track day and later in the day my bike stopped going into 5th gear. Anyone else had these problems? It's going into gear fine now.

Also, has anyone ever had there transmission gears polished? Has anyone tried to lighten the transmission gears? I haven't looked at them yet to see if I think I can...just seeing if anyone else has.
