Rear wheel nut

What size is the nut holding the rear wheel on? I need to buy a big socket and don't want to have to buy more than one.

I have never taken the wheels off before.....is it pretty straight forward? Or is there anything special I should know? Will the rear wheel come off easily with just the one nut and cotter pin? How about the front wheel...how does that come off?

I havent as yet taken the back wheel off but those are (I'm told) the right sizes for the wheel and the hub.

Considering the number fo Ducati and Hawk swingarms I tear apart this set has been a total life saver. I only paid $30 for mine though through the Cummins tool sale...you guys let me know if any of you want a set and I'll grab an extra the next time the sale comes through town.

Off the top of my head the wheel nut is 27mm and the large hub nut is 46mm
