    Loose baffles causing misfire

After rebuilding carburettors and checking over the ignition system to find the cause of a rather annoying flat spot (see question recently posted entitled - 650 flat spot) I've finally traced it down to loose baffles in the exhaust which can be heard rattling in precisely the rpm band where the misfire is felt. I only found it by chance by reving the engine in the garage and have a question for all you Hawk/Bros lovers out there.

Firstly - I notice that access can be gained to the rear of the can by removing the blind rivits attatching the end plate. Are there any baffles located in this part of the exhaust or are they contained in the collector box located under the swinging arm? I'd like to know if I need to go wading in with either the drill or the angle grinder...

Also, I hear much talk about the 400 and 650 Bros being similar apart from the crank, barrels and jetting etc. Do they share the same exhaust apart from the downpipes, and has anyone got a suitable, original exhaust for sale?

bros 400/650 are the same bike with just sleved down barrels and jets! the pipes are the same and its a shame as ive just sold the spare one i had on fleabay!
if you got some spare cash Fuel do a road legal can, my other half has one and it sounds and looks the dogs danglies! i think i paid 150 quid for it! you will just have to make up a bracket for the center stand stop thats all! or take it off!
