Micron can on a 400bros.... do i need to modify anything?

    Hi,

I bought a micron can CCY33 off of ebay and fitted it to my 400bros 88' model... but it made a strange wherring noise when i decelerated and dropped down gears... the bike just didn't feel right...

does anyone know if i need to make any modifications to the bike to use this can on it?

    added pic for visual reference:

then remove it or buy a center stand stop bracket, as you stand is now rubbing on your chain! the orignial stop is on the bottom of you original exhaust which you have removed!

cheers... i did notice that the chain was touching the centre stand when i was taking the exhaust off... i thought it was 'cos i hadn't tightened my chain for a while... whoops...

so can this exhaust damage the bike at all?

and how simular are the engines on a 400 & 650 bros?

as the exhaust came off a 650...

          thanks for advice...

From what I understand the 400 and 647 are exactly the same engines just that the 400 is sleeved and fitted with smaller pistons.
