New hawk owner with a slight problem.

First of all let me say that I just purchased my 88 hawk in June and I am super happy with it. I haven't ridden a bike in about 10 years and that was a CBX .
Now for the problem with my hawk-- on a hot day and engine is up to operating temp there is moisture inside of the tach close to the temp gauge. ( It kinda steams up) You can see little dropplets on the inside of the glass. I am sure that it has to do with the temp gauge, but is there a fix for this problem. Thanks

This is rather common. Water gets in there from washing or rain, it can cause some corrosion.

Take the gauge apart, use air to get the water out, spray in there with a lil wd-40 and seal it with some silicone.

      Done.
