I would like to upgrade my front brake line to a stainless steel one, and was wondering if anyone can tell me which one(s) would be a good fit for the Hawk GT.

Stainless steel brake line

I just bought a Galfer line off of ebay. It cost about $55 plus S&H.
It's pretty easy to do. Rule #1 - PROTECTECT YOUR PAINT! Put an old towel (or 2) on top of your fender and tank. Brake fluid will also eat through the silver paint on the stock caliper over time, so make sure to wipe that off when you're done.
After that, bleed the brake system, remove the old banjo bolts, remove the old hose, attach the new hose & new bolts (make sure you include the copper crush washers on both sides of the hose head). Then refil the system with new DOT4 fluid, bleed the air (this is the PITA of the project), and voila, you're done!
Oh, and you can re-use the rubber sheath from the old hose to give the new SS hose some added protection. Slice it down the middle with a razor, and put it on top of your new SS line. Then use black electrical tape to secure it. You should also re-use the two little rubber rings that the hose-hangers grab onto, too.
Good luck!
