    Is this a good deal

I have the chance to buy an NTV front end.
The forks are in good condition, it has two brembo pots, 2 brake disks and a wheel all still fastened together. He is after £120 for it. I can improve the forks with Hagon springs and change the lines for stainless. Any opinion would be appreciated.

Do you mean this parts from a NT650V Deauville RC47

The Brembo-Brake-Pots work very fine but the wheel is to heavy.

If I'm correct the NTV forks are similar to the Hawk/Bros as they only have on disc up front so not sure there is any advantage unless you are planning what Dirk did and use the Deauville front. You may be able to improve them by:-

The most common modifications are to replace the stock springs with Progressive #1126 fork springs (or Racetech straight rate springs), replace the fork oil with heavier (10-15 weight) oil, and either weld up a couple of holes in the damper rods or install Racetech gold valve cartridge emulators (and actually drill more holes in the damper rods) which get you adjustable compression and rebound damping (although you will have to open up the forks to adjust these parameters). Another modification common to the forks is to get a set of adjustable fork caps from a Honda CBR600 F2 (pre-cartridge version). Spacer length should be adjusted based on all the above modifications as well.

        Yeah
the one Dirk has in the picture.
I dont do track days and I dont realy scratch much. The Bros is slowly getting streetfightered and slightly better springs and better breaking is what I am looking for.
The cost of CBR forks or similar along with brakes, wheel, discs etc can mount up (if you miss good Ebay deals). Is there a Lighter wheel that will fit between the NTV forks.
        Cheers Guys

Why dont you do what I've done to keep the Hawk brake rotor look, and find some F3 fork innerds into the Hawk sliders.

Your a font of knowledge Dirk.
And any one of those wheels will mate with the Deauville brakes?
