Differences of a front wheel CBR F2 and from a VFR750

    All greetings.
I from Russia. It is the most informative forum on the Internet from the Hawk.
My first season here comes to an end. Soon winter and I have decided to borrow in updating of the motorcycle. In Russia it is very complex with spare parts. Unfortunately not so a wide range. Available there is a forward wheel from the VFR750. What differences of this wheel from a wheel from CBR F2?
    Sorry my terrible english.
    TY

      Also it is 1" wider.
Stock Hawk wheel is 2.5" so you have to use a 110 tyre.
VFR750 front wheel is almost exactly the same as a CBR600F3 and is 3.5".
I have that exact wheel myself and have bought a bicycle type speedometer so I can see how fast I go.
Will be fitting mine this winter too.
Oleg be careful as the spacers and spindle may be different on that wheel compared to the Hawk one.

      HTH,
      Marc

if you use a vfr wheel and forks then you will need the triple trees, or yokes as we call them here in blighty!
my bros had them fitted and the spindle mark was sticking out a good 3-4mm so there is a definate difference between the two?

        cheers
