i got a fuel race can for my other halfs 400, that beefed the accceleration up a bit, but youll be struggling to make it anywhere as interesting as an R1! why didnt ya get a 650?

    cheers

Put in a 650...... The transalp engine I think is the same or get hold of a 750 Africa Twin change the sprokets and it should just bolt in.
Or save up and get JD Hord to build you a 650.

Go with Uni-pod filters and a Factory 3.0 jet kit.... an M4 exhaust will top that off for a nice difference! er well for the 647 that is.
I've no experience with the 400.

Here's the best place to shop: http://www.meccanicacorse.net/ Said J.D. Hord's home. He's over here in Ohio, USA but he's the best with our beloved engines.

As i said before.. i had an R1... see pic

But while it was in for a service someone offered me a Bros and 4000 quid, so here i am..

I'm only a weekend rider so the speed doesnt bother me anymore, i like the fact you can do so much for the bros.. cant wait to get a new back wheel tho..

Plus insurance is cheaper etc etc

Yeah apparently there are a lot of mods available. Check out www.hordpower.com for some info. You can get big bore kits, racier cams, jet kits, full exhausts, and intake mods. Anywhere north of 60hp on one of these things can scare a LOT of more expensive bikes, because the torque is serious.
