For some reason that's the most popular link I see on Hawkgtforum. I already took a long look at that. I just wish he'd done some testing with the pods first, then the pipe second. He sure went nuts with the jetting early on.

    Hope this helps.

Okee... Good graph I stand corrected.

FWIW I have 145 and 150 in one bike and I think like 153 in both on the other.

You NEED a pipe or the jetting won't net you much.

Doc is right the biggest difference would come from jets and a pipe. Regardless you should spend some time on JD's website. http://hordpower.com/ He has a bunch of Dyno Charts for Hawks in different states of tune. It's pretty cool. Also with JD's commitment to Hawks I would buy my jet kit from him. Oh wait I did buy my jet kit from Hordpower

As listed in my sig and in the initial post, I just have UNIs, no pipe. The UNIs are the only mod. I figured listing every mod on my bike would be absolutely pertinent in determining jetting.

So would the 3.0 still be the best idea?

I would advise you to get yourself a Factory Stage III kit.You can swap your jets, but your needles still aren't going to be optimal with UNI's and I have to assume a pipe.
Pretty much any place will have the jets though, any decent cycle shop - Dennis Kirk etc.

Where do you buy your jets, and what size?

So I pulled the carbs apart and cleaned them out a few days ago, and found out my bike has UNI pods with stock main jets. I don't know why the PO figured that would work.

So I'm in the market for a main or two. I'm interested in the jetting sizes people have used. From what I've read, when some have put pods in they've just swapped the 138 jet to the rear cylinder and put a 145 in the front. Others have just gone to 140 or 145 on both.

So, where to buy, and which? Thanks!
