900rr forks and triples on a hawk?

Does anyone know if a 98 900rr triples will fit a hawk neck? are the bearings the same size?

Yes,they'll bolt right up - however, the 900RR front end leaves you with the funky 16" front rim with it's strange 130 tire.People have had em on their Hawks and been happy - you can bolt on an F3 rim but unless you just like the chunkier look/it was cheap,no real advantage over F3 forks.

16" rim limits your tire choice.

To keep the ride height stock, the 900 forks will be flush with the top tree so naturally the clip-ons go underneath. It drops the bars down and forward about 2"and1" respectively. Much more aggressive look I love it. Unfortunately the rider of my Hawk doesn't so I'm looking for F3 forks. As for the wheel, just put in an F2-F3 its a direct swap, had one on my 95 900rr for years.

Good bit of info there, Direct swap of the F3 wheel into the 900rr front!
