CBR 929 front end- a hawk fit?

Does anyone know if the 2003 929 forks fit the hawk? what changes would need to be made? some of the racers look like they have this mod, and I think the upside down forks look cool so I'd like to know

    Thanks!

I have one on my wifes bike but I have no idea what it took to fit it. you will loose the speedometer (I have a garmin GPS that i use for speed) but it does work on the bike. you also have to use the 929 clipons as there's not enought height to fit the stock bars. not that they woudl fit with the bigger tubes.

usually it's a question of finding the right bearings? but i don't know. i'll probably tear into it later this winter and might fit up an F2/3 front end for her so I can raise her bars a bit. it's pretty extreme. and no, the front end won't be for sale. it might go on my race hawk depending on how much it'll cost me to revalve and such on the 929 front end.

It bolts right up.Issues that need to be addressed for a streetbike are: mounting lighting/gauges/speedometer.Those funky new Acewell digital dashes are a good option for most of that and only ~ $150: you could sell your stock gauges and make $ on the deal...The steering lock is quite limited but the stops can be adjusted easily.

Yep I would say it bolts right up as well.

The USD forks have a certain bling factor but other than that I don't see the point, unless you can get em cheaper than a set of F2, F3, F4's

They do bolt right up as said earlier. I weighed my hawk front assembly versus the 954 front end and there is only a little over a pound of difference.

Hey Joel, what kind of front wheel is that? I thought that the 929/954 front wheels were 3 spoke.
