The ideal one is a Magura 3... ahh, 304 or something like that but it has been discontinued.
Yeah, the MP's will work but you'll more than likely have to get a custom cable made. (except that push-pull #059 looks like it might work with the std. Hawk cable??) Which is not a problem, MP will do it for you, just call them up, ask for Toby and tell him what you want to do.

What is it that you're trying to do/fix. If you're looking for a replacement throttle sleeve, you'll need a push/pull one (stock has two cables, one's a push the other the pull) keep in mind, the one's on that page looked to be mostly for dirt applications.
FWIW, i've used a buell throtle sleeve on my hawk, two years and no issues. came already glued to the grips I wanted, so I figured why not.....Mike/Kilter
They smile because I'm different--I laugh because they are all the same

Hate to resurrect an old thread but.... looking over the motion pro site. they say they will not make a single cable for a push/pull carb. any one have one of these? if so what cable do you use. or what other throttle is good?

Let me jump in on the ressurection of this old thread: I just purchased the Buell Traction grips, which came with the throttle tube glued in. This part no longer seems to be a direct fit. The Buell throttle tube does not fit my stock Hawk throttle/switch housing. Perhaps they changed the design a little, but the plastic slide ring or flange where the cables attach is slightly larger than the stock throttle tube. It will fit into the housing and look fine, but when you tighten up the housing mounting screws, the throttle binds badly. Had to mount the grips on the stock throttle tube. FYI.
