Oil from water pump drain screw! Help

    Just to add,

    You may know this but if there is no water in it the temp gauge wont register the water temp. So those two are related.

    Good luck, you are on the right track, may be worth a leak-down test, if its been run with no water you may have some issues.. Leak-down will help you find them,

    Don't spend money and buy, spend time and learn.

                            Its no longer impervious to contamination, you could try a tad of RTV silicone, but replacing it would be a better bet. Should be a bearing number on one side of it. Hopefully the one visible side
